How to Request New Access for a Party in Justikal

The following instructions will help you request access for a party to a case in Justikal.

Follow these steps to submit a new access request:

1. Open the Access Permissions Tab

Once a case has been created in Justikal, users who already have access to that case can request additional access by:

Navigating to the "Case Access" tab.
Clicking the "Request New Access" button located in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

When you click "Request New Access", a window will open where you can:

Enter the email address to check if the user already has a Justikal account.
If the user is not already in Justikal, enter his full name.
Optional: Additional security — the user will be required to verify their identity via video onboarding. Next you specify:
- Country of cityzenship
- Enter passport/driver's license number

The identification number will be verified during case party registration to ensure that the email address belongs to the person listed in the case.

Specify the type of access requested.
Under "Case Access", choose one of the three access types:
- Write access
- Read-only access
- No access
Provide a reason for the request.
If the party is a company or organization, you can click "Represents entity (Company)". This allows you to select the company’s ID number and name.

You can view all pending access requests under the "Case access" tab.

Scroll to the bottom of the page, under the heading:
"Pending Requests for Case No. XX/XXXX", where you’ll find a list of all unprocessed access requests.

The case administrator will receive an email notification when a new access request is submitted.

They can then approve or reject the request.

Once the request has been processed, the person for whom access was requested will receive a notification email with the outcome.
