Access Levels in Justikal: Administrator, Write, Read, and No Access

The following instructions will help you understand the different types of access in Justikal. There are four types of access in the system: Administrator, Write, Read, and No Access.

NO ACCESS

This is a suitable access level for users who are registered in a case but do not have access to the case through Justikal. The functionality of this access level in the system is as follows:

  • No access to case documents.
  • Can request access to the case.

READ ACCESS

This is a suitable access level for users who want to monitor the progress of their related cases. The functionality of this access level in the system is as follows:

  • Can read documents in all document categories (except those with limited access).
  • Access to the event log.
  • Access to the case timeline.
  • Access to the participant access overview.
  • Can request access to the case.

WRITE ACCESS

This is a suitable access level for, for example, lawyers who can submit documents and participate in the handling of the case.

  • Can read documents in all document categories (except those with limited access).
  • Can upload documents to the “Submitted Documents” area.
  • Can rename their own documents.
  • Can write comments on documents.
  • Access to the event log.
  • Access to the case timeline.
  • Access to an overview of participant access.
  • Can request access to the case.

ADMINISTRATOR ACCESS

This access level is intended for the administrator of the case, often the user who creates the case. The functionality of this access level in the system is as follows:

  • Can edit the basic case information.
  • Can upload documents to the “Submitted Documents” area.
  • Can rename documents.
  • Can delete documents.
  • Can manage access to documents.
  • Can write comments on documents.
  • Access to the event log.
  • Can add and delete events on the case timeline.
  • Can approve or reject access requests.
  • Can manage participant access rights.
  • Can add related cases.
